Paul Pogba is not Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's property, says his agent Mino Raiola. The France midfielder, 26, is recovering from ankle surgery but Raiola has suggested he could return to former club Juventus in the summer. Solskjaer responded by saying he had not spoken to Raiola and that "Paul is our player and not Mino's". In a post on social media, Raiola then said he hopes the Norwegian is not suggesting "Paul is his prisoner". Raiola added: "Paul is not mine and for sure not Solskjaer's property, Paul is Paul Pogba's. "Before Solskjaer makes comments about things I say he should inform himself better about the content of what has been said. ⠀ "Until now I was maybe too nice to him. Naira Marley, a Nigerian controversial musician who failed to show up in court over an accused of car theft, has agreed for out-of-court settlement after being offered a final chance of appearing in court. Based on reports from the lawyer representing Naira Marley, his two brothers, Idris Fashola and Babatunde Fashola, their cousin Kunle Obere, the four-count charge of fraud, stealing, assaulting and obstructing the police towards their clients could be withdrawn before the next court hearing of the case if the negotiations between them and lawyers of the complainant succeeds. A court has heard how two men allegedly threatened to kill Mesut Ozil and defile his mother as they confronted security guards outside his home. Salaman Ekinci and Ferhat Ercun are accused of one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. They both deny the charge. The Osun State High Court in Ikirun on Thursday sentenced three men, Nuhu Jimoh, David Ndubisi and Oluwaseun Aderibigbe, to death by hanging for bank robbery, the sentence was given by the Honorable Justice Jide FalolaIt was gathered that thirty-two people, including two police personnel and two bank workers, were killed during the exchange of gunfire between the robbers and the police during the robbery that occurred on February 12, 2016, Delivering the judgment to the culprits, Justice Falola found the men guilty of launching coordinated attacks on the First Bank, Union Bank and Skye Bank, situated on the same street in Ikirun in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state and pronounced the death sentence on them. The judge said the gun recovered from the convicts during the bank robbery be forfeited to the Nigeria Police, while the money recovered from them be forfeited to Osun Government. A reward is being offered to anyone brave enough to remove a motorcycle stuck around the neck of a 13ft crocodile in Indonesia. The creature has been struggling around with the tyre since at least 2016 when it was first spotted in the Palu River in Central Sulawesi.  The endangered Siamese crocodile has survived an earthquake and a tsunami that struck the region in 2018, but the tyre hasn’t budged. The agency’s chief Hasmuni Hasmar did not specify how much the reward would be but it would come out of his own pocket as the agency is strapped for cash. Mr Hasmar stressed that he didn’t want to encourage amateurs to risk themselves and only wanted people with a background in wildlife rescue. HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — The man, who police say fatally shot his wife and prompted an hours-long standoff at a home in High Point, has been declared guilty. On Friday, Alvin Nathanael Smith, 30, was convicted of first-degree murder after a trial by jury for killing a man in 2018. Police were called to a domestic situation at 8:18 p.m. May 7, 2018, in the 1800 block of Blain Street. When two officers approached the home and knocked on the door, they heard a disturbance coming from the backyard and gunshots soon followed. The officers thought someone may be firing at them and when they checked in the backyard, they found 33-year-old Elizabeth L. Smith outside the home with her two children, ages 3 and 9. They were able to move the children to safety and provide aid to Elizabeth Smith. She was taken to Moses Cone Memorial Hospital where she later died. Officers believed Alvin Smith was still inside the home, so they surrounded the residence and negotiators were...

Some officers of the Nigerian police have reportedly died in an auto crash while chasing a car along Ogoni-Akwa Ibom Road. This was disclosed by a Twitter user, @unklebassey, who shared the news on his handle Sunday. It is understood that four policemen who tried to arrest a Sienna car along the express road resorted to chasing the car after it refused to stop. Unfortunately for them, their vehicle lost control, somersaulted multiple times and landed in the bush. Two out of the officers were confirmed dead on the spot while two others survived the ghastly crash with injuries. The officers who survived the accident could be seen in the pictures shared by the eyewitness, trying to gather the remains of their colleagues.
